Christmas in Sunne

It has been an unusual cold November and December here in Sweden with between minus 15-30 degrees most of the time and we have lots of snow too.

This is our Christmas celebration at our preeschool Hea.

We celebrate the saint Lucia on the 13th of December. The children can choose from to dress up as gingerbreadmen, Santa Claus, Starboys or Saint Lucia. This year we sang songs for elderly people at the home for the aged and later in the evening we sang for the childrens own familys.

The children also preformed a play from the book "Rainbowfish".

In December we met Santa Claus in the forrest and the children gave him their Christmas wishlists.

On December 21st we sang traditional Christmas songs and danced around the Christmastree. Afterwards we had Christmas lunch together with the children.

This is a photo of a traditional Swedish Chistmas food.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

from all of us in Sunne
