In Sunne and a few other places in Sweden, we celebrate the 20th of Knut as Christmas last day. It takes place on January 13th, twenty days after Christmas.

The tradition is that we throw out the Christmastree after the dance.

On this day the children dress up in funny clothes and masks.
They go out together and walk around to the neighbours and ask for candy.
At preeschool the children make their own masks and dances around the Christmastree to bid farewel to Christmas.
The tradition is that we throw out the Christmastree after the dance.

This is our Christmas celebration at our preeschool Hea.

In December we met Santa Claus in the forrest and the children gave him their Christmas wishlists.
On December 21st we sang traditional Christmas songs and danced around the Christmastree. Afterwards we had Christmas lunch together with the children.
